This looks very nice Ange – how long did it tak you and Travis to do this? I’m looking for the lawn. Do you have it finished yet? I’m going to see your Twitter Ramblings – looks like you two are traveling now! Kim B.
Your walkway is so amazing and so is your new patio! I’m so jealous! I would love to be able to do what you’ve done to your yard— I love the “secret garden” look— I have an 80’s modern style house and I’m trying to create an old style garden around it too, but the shape of the house keeps throwing it off.
I see you live around Seattle! I live in North Carolina now, but I was born and raised in Issaquah. I live for the day I can move back there!
Your blog is wonderful. I love seeing your garden photos!
FREE-RANGE CHICKEN GARDENS. I have the pleasure of being included in Jessi Bloom's beautiful book (pages 27, 51 upper left, 112, 114-117). Check it out!
THE NEW LOW MAINTENANCE GARDEN. This book by Val Easton is one of my favorite design books.
WICKED PLANTS: Great read about poisonous plants by Amy Stewart.
THE VEGETABLE GARDENER'S BIBLE. My favorite vegetable garden reference book by Edward C. Smith.
GROW. COOK. EAT. by Willi Galloway is a beautiful vegetable garden cookbook. Great recipes and tips on eating ALL parts of the veggie - not just the mainstream parts.
It looks great! I like the size of the stone.
